Making a
Difference Through ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Fellowship Class ("Wired Word")
The Fellowship Class is open to adults of all ages on Sunday
mornings at 9:30am on the second floor of the church. Fellowship Class
focuses on the Wired Word weekly discussion on contemporary issues in
the news. Participants receive a weekly e-mail with a news story currently
in the headlines along with questions to begin to spark thinking and
discussion. When the class gathers, this news story becomes the focus of a
discussion centered on how to answer those questions using faith as a lens and
Scripture as the guide. Participants enjoy thinking about their beliefs and
its application to their own day-to-day life, and are always ready for a
lively discussion!
Open Circle Class
Open Circle Class is another offering to adults of all ages
on Sunday mornings at 9:30am on the first floor, but tends to be made up of
mostly retired adults. The class focus is on Biblical Studies and theology.
The class uses The Present Word study series as it continues the rich and
long tradition of adult Bible Discovery -- relevant, thought-provoking and
stimulating!
Sunday Morning Electives
In addition to the traditional
Wired Word and Open Circle Class choices mentioned above, there is a
rotation of other Sunday morning offerings from 9:30am-10:20am for an 8-week

DISCIPLE Bible Studies
 An
exciting opportunity for every person interested in studying the Bible! Are
you enrolled in the DISCIPLE Bible Study program yet? The DISCIPLE Bible
Study is designed to develop strong Christian leaders in local churches
through the in-depth study of Scripture. Through DISCIPLE, persons will be
strengthened in their faith and guided into service and ministry. Strong,
biblically nourished leadership will help you grow in vitality and Christian
discipleship. The DISCIPLE Bible Study program offers
four levels of study.

Bible Personalities Study
This study of Bible Personalities is a "come and go" study --
you're welcome to attend as often as you can, but no guilt if you have to
miss! A list of the new Bible personalities to be discussed and associated
scripture passages can be picked up in the church office or
viewed here. The class
discusses each personality by answering the who, what, where, when, how, and
why of each scripture passage. The group meets on Wednesday mornings at 9am
in the parlor behind the sanctuary if you'd like to join in!
Elder's Workshop
The Elder's Workshop has been a learning opportunity that
Central Christian Church has hosted for our regional churches in Ohio since
2004. Future workshop speakers include Dr. Richard Hamm in 2009, past
General Minister and President of the
Disciples of Christ denomination. Registration forms are available from
